Our Office Manager, Mrs Blenkiron, is available to help you with any administrative queries. However here are a few items that may be useful to parents and carers which you can view or download from our website.
Our School Day
All children are to arrive at school between 8:45am and 8:55am, entering via the side gate. We request that parents of children in Classes 3 and 4 leave the children at the pedestrian gate in order to reduce congestion on site. Class teachers will be waiting to greet the children and they will filter directly into classrooms to wash their hands. Please note that supervision by staff begins when the side gate is opened at 8:45am. If you require childcare before this time, please enquire about our breakfast club which runs every day from 8:00-8:45am.

At the end of the day, the side gate will be opened at 3:15pm and parents will be able to walk round to the playground at the rear of building and collect their children directly from their classrooms. If more than one child is being collected, please collect the younger child/children first.
Dinner Money
Dinner money is collected on a Monday. Please send the money in an envelope with your child’s name clearly marked. As of April 2024, the cost of a school meal will be £2.81 per day (£14.05 per week). Since September 2014 all pupils in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 in state-funded schools in England have been eligible for free school meals.
Cool Milk
Milk is an important part of a child’s diet. It is one of the few drinks allowed in school under the latest government’s food-based and nutrient-based standards and provides a number of health benefits and social opportunities to ensure children get the most out of the school day. Visit the Cool Milk website to order your children’s milk.
Savings Scheme
We operate a well-established savings scheme through NE First Credit Union which helps to get children into the ‘saving habit’ from an early age. Savings can be deposited on a weekly basis and the scheme is open to adults as well as children. Anyone wishing to join please ask in school for details.
