Pupil Voice

Pupil Voice at Byers Green

We have a new approach to School Council. We have voted for five representatives from Class 4 to go to each class and chair a meeting about things which are important to us. We have found that this gives every child in school the chance to contribute to ideas and discussions. Following the meetings, the class 4 representatives meet with Miss Dodds and Mrs King to discuss their findings and together we agree what to implement, change or develop at school.

This year we have some key ambassador roles:

Inclusion Ambassador – Jo

Technology Ambassador – Luca

Curriculum Ambassador – Charlie

Forest Ambassador – Frankie and Logan

Behaviour Ambassador – Sophie and Georgia

Reading Ambassador – Darcey and Autumn

The Ambassadors have helped their link teachers to plan a mini-project for the whole school.
