Our pupils have an important part to play in the life of our school. In this section you will find information about some of the ways your child can become involved in our school beyond their normal day to day lessons. This may be as an active member of a School Club or as a school ambassador.

Mini Eco Police
Our Eco Police are a team of dedicated pupils who help our school community to be as environmentally friendly as possible. They regularly visit classrooms to encourage good eco-friendly habits and carry out checks to ensure that both pupils and staff are doing their part to reduce our environmental impact.
The Eco Police look out for the following:
Turning off lights when they are not needed.
Ensuring taps are fully turned off to save water.
Closing windows when the heating is on to prevent heat from escaping.
Switching off computer monitors when they are not in use.
Turning off interactive whiteboards when they are no longer needed.
The Eco Police carry out regular eco-checks across the school, helping everyone to develop positive environmental habits and reduce our impact on the planet. To celebrate these efforts, an Eco Award is presented each week to the Eco Warriors of the Week. This recognises the class or individuals who have shown an outstanding commitment to being environmentally friendly and encourages everyone to continue making sustainable choices every day.
Pupil Questionnaires
During the 2018-2019 academic year our Y5 and Y6 children took part in a countywide student voice survey. The results for our school and the county as a whole are available in the documents below.
If you require further information on any of the items shown in this section, please contact the school and we will do our best to help.
