There is no separate worksheet today but you will need to draw your own charts which you will see on the video – this is what we would expect by this time in Y2 and it’s good practice for KS2!

Challenge: can you spot and write any other ar words?
Y2 spellings: adding -y to root words ending in e: shiny / scary / greasy / smoky / bony
What happens when you want to make a root word ending in e (eg shine) into an adjective (eg shiny)? Look closely: you should notice that we drop the e before adding -y.
Please write these words in sentences in your Home Learning book– try to practise using different sentence types (statement / question / command / exclamation).
