White Rose (or other appropriate resources) will be provided to complete. This week there are also activities to be completed during the teaching videos and I have noted on the planning the resources needed.

Complete worksheet dated 8.2.21 and then practise writing our spellings for this week: right / bright / light / night / high

Challenge: can you spot and write any other igh words? Clue: think about the book we’ve read recently and our history topic!

Y2 spellings: adding -ing to verbs ending in e: hiking / shining / scaring / moving / being

Please write these words in sentences – try to practise using different sentence types (statement / question / command / exclamation).

Please discuss with your child / children everything they have learned about Jesus so far: his birth, the miracles he performed and any other information which shows why Christians believe he is so special.
