Sir Charlie Stinky Socks

Discuss what children liked best about the story ; possible questions:

  • What was your favourite part?
  • Who was your favourite character?
  • Who do you think would enjoy reading this story?
  • What mark would you give the story out of 10?
  • Do you feel sorry for the Mysterious Stranger?

Please complete the Book Review worksheet dated 9.1.21

NB: The writer of the book  is Kristina Stephenson.

I have enclosed a printed copy of the final part of the story – it might be useful to re-read the whole story before completing the book review.

ICT

Today is international Safer Internet Day. The official theme is Internet we trust: exploring reliability in the online world which might be a little complicated for KS 1 children so perhaps you could simply discuss how they can’t believe everything which they see or read about online!

Please read Buddy the Dog’s Internet Safety Story and talk about the issues it raises.
